Hello friends! Welcome to your practice! The importance of checking in with yourself is a sentiment that many of us yogis/yoginis are familiar with. But have you ever checked in with the actual organs of your body? Often times, the brain and the body are working independently of each other, with the two machines being on different wave lengths from one another. We may think the heart is okay, but it is suffering. We may think the gut is okay, but it is struggling. We don't really know until we go inward and ask the question: how are you feeling? This mediation is like a mini body scan, with attention placed on three important parts of our being: our brain, our heart and our gut. There will be 5 minutes of Free Writing at the end!

Probably the most requested style of class that I teach-here is a restorative and nidra fusion! This sweet practice spends time at the beginning in the heart and in the hips to open the body and release tension. We then slide into a Yoga Nidra practice to check in with our soul/spirit. A great one to do in bed-just allow yourself to drift to sleep!

This practice is maybe the sweetest one I have ever filmed! Use the wall for most of this class to work into the hips and low back. We finish with a meditation that is geared towards new beginnings, as this was filmed at the start of a new month. Visualize what you see for yourself in the future and get rid of what no longer suits you. I hope you really love this one!!
